8 Megapixel Digital SLR Cameras |
Page updated: January 2008 |
|
The 8 megapixel digital SLR camera market can now be considered over and done. In 2006, the most common number of megapixels included in digital SLR cameras was six. At that time, a few 8 megapixel cameras made their appearance and set themselves apart with the extra 2 megapixels. But then, another leap took place, all the way up to 10 megapixels. The few 8 megapixel digital SLR cameras that existed were left behind in a wake of new 10 megapixel camera models. Today, there is only one left that you can buy new, since every camera set for release in 2008 so far includes 10 megapixels or more. |
The Only 8MP Digital SLR Camera
As you can see, Canon is the dominant player in the 8mp digital SLR camera market.
