In this particular contest, one camera doesn't really stand out for me that much more than the other.

A lot depends on taste, but the images that I've looked at from both cameras are of exceptionally high quality.

Since both of these DSLRs are aimed at the consumer (beginner DSLR) market, their features and settings are also pretty much the same.

I've found that the best way to compare two cameras like this - if you can - is to find a local camera shop that will let you try them out.

You may find that one just "fits" better into your hand, and this may help sway your decision about getting one over the other.
