Olympus E-5
Release Date: October 2010
List Price (body only): $1,700 USD

Introduction

If there were one word to describe the Olympus E-5, it would be this: rugged.

Olympus was the first company to include dust control systems on their cameras, so they've had a lot of time to refine it over the years.

In addition to the system that keeps the sensor spot-free, the Olympus E-5 is also fully sealed against dust and moisture — you can use it without worry even in pretty bad weather.

The E-5 is adept at action shots with its ultra-fast 11-point autofocus and 5 photo-per-second speed, but it's also easy to use for portrait and landscape photography thanks to its flexible 3 inch LCD screen.

Ten in-camera art filters let you manipulate the look of your photos without the need for additional computer software.
