Armed Temporary Security Guard Companies - When planning an event for your business or organization, the last thing you want is for it to get out of control and have what was supposed to be a profitable, joyous occasion turn into one in which property was stolen or violence broke out. For this reason, it’s a must that you turn to a reputable armed temporary security guard company to make sure things go according to plan.

XSi 450D or XS 1000D
by: Digital SLR Guide

I agree with the above comment that either the XSi 450D or XS 1000D are good options - unless you do really want the video mode available on the new T1i 500D.

If you do go with either the XSi or the XS, the money that you save (relative to the T1i) can be put toward upgrading the kit lens to something that is more suited for landscape photography.

Rebel!
by: Canon User

I would tell you to get a rebel, which is designed for first time users. Unless you want video, which I don't really see as anything more than a gimmick, don't go for the T1i, there are much better deals to be had. The best quality-money bargain would probably be an XSi, and if you're really scraping the bin for money, I've seen some great deals on a Rebel XS, which is also an excellent beginners camera and has nearly all of the features of the XSi. I would also suggest that you buy "body only" and purchase a halfway decent lens, its ultimately a better deal.
