Pentax K-r Features

Release Date: October 2010
List Price (body only): $650 USD
List Price (with 18-55mm lens): $700 USD
Introduction
The Pentax K-r builds upon the feature set of the Pentax K-x, which is the least expensive digital SLR you can buy with an HD movie mode.
The K-r shares many features with the K-x, including its 720p HD movie mode, built-in image stabilization, 11-point autofocus, 6 photo-per-second continous speed and compatibility with a huge number of new and old Pentax lenses.
One improvement in the K-r is the display of the autofocus points in the viewfinder, which gives you visual feedback about where the camera is focusing.
The K-r also has a greater ISO range, running from a low 100 all the way up to 25600.
